Ground is a half of the signal that your HiFi is attempting to reproduce. The part that the “hot” side needs to refer to, to be accurate. The most expensive cartridges, DACs, pre amps, amplifiers and speakers will not deliver a faithful performance if the ground is moving, shaking and wobbling with the noise that is always present on every ground line.
