M8T features an independent dual combination of the flagship AKM DACs with their ΔΣ Modulators. Such a one-on-one pairing eliminates clock signal distortion that can appear with the simpler Two DACs - One Modulator designs. Providing overall cleaner sound performance, especially with High-Resolution audio files.

Trio of Output Modes
Transistor / Triode / Ultra-Linear
While the tubes are the unique feature of the M8T, the audio circuit can be run in a pure transistor mode, fully avoiding the tube output. And with the addition of Triode and Ultra-Linear modes for the tubes, M8T in total offers 3 distinctive sound profiles.
