This is an evolution of the SL-1500C.  This turntable features the addition of the ∆∑ Digital Drive [ Delta-Sigma ] to the SL-1500C Series  [as found in the SL-1200GR, SL-1300G, and SL-1200GME ].
 
With ΔΣ-Drive, a digital control technology developed for our Grand Class, even subtle noise in the motor-drive signal is eliminated, pushing rotational accuracy to an even higher level.
 
Factory installed Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge, Built-in Defeatable Phono Stage, End of record lift, and is able to play records at 33 1/3, 45, and 78 rpms
